Add Practical Insulation Where Your Vehicle Needs It
Create a more refined interior environment with a flexible insulation layer designed for common automotive panels.
Each sheet measures 50 × 200 cm and combines a reflective aluminum-foil-facing surface with a flexible insulating layer and self-adhesive backing.
Trim the material to suit areas such as the hood, doors, floor, trunk, and cargo panels while helping reduce unwanted heat transfer, panel resonance, and everyday vehicle noise.
Choose between 5 mm and 10 mm thicknesses depending on the available clearance and your installation needs.
Check Fit And Clearance Before Installation
This insulation mat is cut-to-fit rather than vehicle-specific.
Before ordering, confirm that the panel you want to insulate has enough space for your selected thickness.
Works Well For
- Hood and bonnet panels
- Door interiors
- Vehicle floors
- Trunk and cargo areas
- Other compatible interior metal panels with sufficient clearance
Choose 5 mm When
A slimmer insulation layer is preferred or the installation area has tighter clearance.
Choose 10 mm When
The installation area can accommodate a thicker insulation layer.
Not Intended For
- Customers looking for a molded OEM replacement liner
- Areas without sufficient clearance
- Projects requiring a certified fire-rated insulation material
- Customers expecting the mat alone to completely soundproof a vehicle
Measure the intended installation area before ordering, especially when fitting material behind trim or within tightly spaced panels.
A Flexible Three-Layer Construction
The mat uses a layered construction designed for practical automotive installation.
Reflective Aluminum-Foil Facing
Creates the visible metallic outer surface and supports the product's thermal-insulation function.
Flexible Insulating Core
Adds a soft insulation layer between the vehicle panel and finished interior surfaces.
Self-Adhesive Backing
Allows the material to be positioned directly against compatible surfaces without a separate mounting system.
The material can be trimmed and shaped around different automotive panel layouts, making it suitable for both partial-area installations and larger interior projects.
Helps Reduce Noise Without Overpromising The Result
Automotive noise comes from multiple sources including the engine, tires, road surface, panel vibration, and the vehicle's existing insulation.
This mat adds an additional acoustic and thermal insulation layer that can help reduce unwanted sound and resonance in treated areas.
It should not be viewed as a complete vehicle soundproofing system.
Results will vary depending on:
- Vehicle construction
- Installation location
- Amount of surface coverage
- Existing factory insulation
- Selected material thickness
- Other sound-deadening materials already installed
For more extensive acoustic projects, this type of insulation may form one layer within a broader sound-treatment setup.
Cut, Position And Press Into Place
Installation is designed around straightforward cut-to-fit application.
1. Measure
Check the panel area and confirm enough clearance for your selected thickness.
2. Prepare
Apply the mat to a clean, dry surface free from loose dust or debris.
3. Trim
Cut the sheet to the required shape using suitable scissors or a sharp cutting tool.
4. Peel
Remove the protective backing to expose the adhesive surface.
5. Apply
Position carefully, then press the mat firmly across the panel to maximize surface contact.
Take additional care around wiring, fasteners, trim attachment points, and panel openings.
Because adhesive performance depends on the condition and orientation of the installation surface, overhead and vertical installations should be checked carefully after application.
Choose The Right Amount For Your Project
Each individual sheet measures:
50 × 200 cm / 19.69 × 78.74 in
Available configurations shown in the source material include:
- 1 Piece / 5 mm
- 1 Piece / 10 mm
- 3 Pieces / 10 mm
- 6 Pieces / 10 mm
- 10 Pieces / 10 mm
The amount needed depends on the vehicle and the areas being covered.
A small hood or door project may require substantially less material than a full floor, trunk, and multi-door installation.
Measure your intended coverage areas before choosing a pack quantity.
