Inspect Hard-to-Reach Spaces With Greater Control
Get a closer look where direct visibility is limited.
The 5-Inch Dual-Lens Articulating Borescope combines a steerable inspection probe, front and side cameras, and a built-in IPS display in one handheld system.
Designed for automotive maintenance and mechanical inspection, it helps you examine concealed areas without relying on direct line of sight.
From engine compartments to narrow mechanical openings, its compact camera probe makes visual inspection more accessible.
Check Access Before You Inspect
Designed for spaces that can accommodate a 6.2mm camera probe.
The selected configuration features a 6.2mm diameter camera tip and a 1.5m inspection cable.
Before use, check that the intended opening provides sufficient clearance for the probe and cable, including room for steering and movement.
The camera is fixed-focus. For clearer results, position the lens within its intended viewing distance and adjust the built-in lighting to suit the inspection area.
Important Compatibility Information:
- Suitable for visual inspection of accessible mechanical cavities and openings.
- Does not connect to a vehicle's OBD-II diagnostic port.
- Does not read fault codes or communicate with vehicle computers.
- Cannot be inserted through openings smaller than its physical probe diameter.
- Requires adequate clearance for probe bending and withdrawal.
- Do not use on energized components, inside the body, or in environments beyond the device's specified temperature and chemical limits.
Direct the Camera Toward What You Need to See
A fixed inspection camera only shows what is directly in front of its lens.
This borescope adds a two-way articulating probe that lets you adjust the viewing direction while inspecting narrow or curved spaces.
The manual steering control makes it easier to reposition the camera tip without repeatedly removing and reinserting the cable.
Switch between front-facing and side-facing camera views to examine an area from different perspectives.
A more flexible way to inspect concealed components.
See the Details on a 5-Inch IPS Display
View inspection footage directly on the integrated 5-inch IPS screen, without needing to connect a phone or laptop during normal operation.
The detachable display provides flexibility when positioning the screen around a work area.
Adjust the camera illumination and use the available zoom controls to examine visible details while inspecting mechanical spaces.
For the best viewing results, keep the camera at an appropriate distance from the inspection target and adjust lighting to minimize glare.
Built for Practical Workshop Inspections
Designed around everyday inspection tasks, the handheld control unit provides a convenient grip for managing the probe and viewing the display.
The rechargeable battery system supports portable operation, while the removable battery design allows charging and battery handling according to the supplied instructions.
Capture photos or record video using a compatible TF memory card, then review or transfer inspection files when needed.
The adjustable camera LEDs help illuminate darker inspection areas where external light may not reach.
Practical controls and portable operation for automotive maintenance.
Understand the Operating Limits
For reliable inspection and equipment care, use the borescope within its intended operating conditions.
The camera probe is designed for exposure to water within its specified protection rating, while the handheld body and display are not waterproof.
Avoid excessive cable twisting, crushing, or tightly coiling the probe during articulation.
Use the camera only after the area is safe to inspect. Do not insert the probe into live electrical equipment or excessively hot components.
The fixed-focus camera provides the clearest results when positioned within its specified focus range. Brightness, surface reflections, and distance can affect image quality.
This is a visual inspection tool and does not replace specialized mechanical testing or electronic vehicle diagnostics.
